I collaborated with artist Abigail Anne Newbold to produce video and audio documentation of her weekend residency, "The Academy for Survival," which was presented as part of her 2014 exhibition Borderlander's Outfitter at the Philip Feldman Gallery + Project Space.
During the three day outdoor "survival" experience, I interviewed visiting artists and lecturers including John and Wonhee Arndt of Studio Gorm, Peter Michael Bauer of Rewilding, Sarah Margolis-Pineo of Museum of Contemporary Craft, and BD Wortham-Galvin of Portland State University, and produced a six-minute timelapse video of the weekend that was included in the exhibition. Abigail and I co-moderated the closing panel discussion with "Academy for Survival" participants.
